How can I record a radio station on my phone?
With GrabRadio for Android: search for the station, tap record or schedule a time. The app records the live stream and saves it as an audio file on your phone.
Can GrabRadio record automatically at a set time?
Yes. Schedule a show once or on repeat (daily, weekly, monthly). GrabRadio starts the recording by itself, even with the screen off.
Which stations can I record?
Internet radio stations from the free Radio Browser directory, including many public and commercial stations from around the world.
How much does GrabRadio cost?
All features are free for the first 14 days, no payment details needed. After that there is a free version (unlimited live radio, recordings up to 15 minutes, one schedule) or Premium for €1.99 a month, €14.99 a year or €29.99 once (Lifetime). Prices for Germany incl. VAT; Google Play shows your local price.
Do I need an account?
No. GrabRadio works without sign-up. Recordings, schedules and transcripts stay on your phone.
Is GrabRadio available for iPhone?
No, GrabRadio is currently Android only.
What happens after the 14 days?
The trial ends by itself. Nothing is charged and no subscription starts. You keep the free version, or unlock everything with Premium or Lifetime.
Do I need internet?
For live radio and recording, yes. Saved recordings play offline.
Where are my recordings stored?
By default in the Download/GrabRadio folder on your phone. You can choose another location in the settings. The files stay even if you uninstall the app.
Why did a scheduled recording start late?
Android and some manufacturers restrict apps in the background. Check the recording readiness in the app: exact alarms, background permission, network and free storage.
How does the transcript work?
You import a speech model for your language once. GrabRadio then turns speech into text right on your phone, without uploading the audio. On slow devices this can take a while.
How do I cancel my subscription?
In Google Play under Payments & subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. Uninstalling the app alone does not end the subscription.
Am I allowed to record radio shows?
GrabRadio is meant for private recording so you can listen to shows later. You are responsible for how you use your recordings. Please don't share or publish them.
